As of Tuesday, 10/15, three temporary traffic patterns were implemented in order to investigate ways in which we can improve traffic safety by slowing traffic speed, decreasing cut-through traffic and making it easier to walk and bicycle along the Linden Ave corridor.
Verona has received grant funding to repave Linden Ave from NJDOT. Temporary demonstrations are a low-cost way to test scenarios and gather community input before committing to permanent changes. Verona is also working closely with Verona Police Dept., as well as in conjunction with the Complete Streets Technical Assistance Program.
Download the below flyers for more information on what, why, where, along with details on the community workshop where residents are invited to provide their input on these demonstrations.
