Municipal Alliance Committee (VMAC)
VISION: The vision for VMAC is to support an informed, healthy, vibrant community free of misuse and abuse of alcohol, tobacco, and other substances.
MANDATE: VMAC offers programs in the Township of Verona that complement municipal programming and would not otherwise be offered. The mandate under the grant from GCSUD is to combat underage use, and all abuse, of alcohol and other substances.
MISSION: The mission of VMAC is to work toward community wellness through the celebration and cultivation of the compassion, character, and confidence that individuals, especially our youth, need to make good choices in all aspects of their lives.
Committee Members:
The VMAC Board consists of Verona citizens who volunteer to represent the community at large or Verona schools, along with delegates from the Township of Verona, Verona Board of Education and Verona Police Department.
