Artificial Turf and Natural Grass: A comparative analysis of environmental impact, chemical exposure, injury, surface heat, playable hours and cost

After close to 20 years of use, Centennial Field's turf is reaching the end of its lifespan. Verona's green team, along with Montclair University and PSEG Institute for Sustainability Studies, conducted a thorough study to determine the best option for our beloved field. From cost analysis to environmental impact, their study covered it all. Findings were presented at the 8.5.24 Township Council meeting and is available to be watched on Verona's YouTube channel.
