As a result of air quality testing and remediation taking place at the Verona Police Department (VPD) headquarters, the Bloomfield Ave entrance to VPD Dispatch is temporarily closed. VPD patrol services have moved offsite. If you need to file a Police Report please call 973-239-5000, VPD will be dispatched to you. If this is not possible, you still may report to Town Hall (600 Bloomfield Ave) where an Officer will respond and can speak with you in private.

VPD Records and the Chief of Police's office remains unaffected and will continue operations as usual at Town Hall 2nd floor, located at 600 Bloomfield Ave. Normal services from Records including obtaining copies of police reports and parking related permits remain on the 2nd floor of Town Hall.

This temporary relocation has been conducted seamlessly without any disruption to service. Our commitment to serving the community remains unwavering. We assure you that all VPD services will continue to be fully available, and our officers are dedicated to the safety and well being of our community.

For non-emergent matters, please contact VPD at 973-239-5000 and continue to use 9-1-1 for all emergencies.
