The General Federation of Women’s Clubs Juniorette membership is made up of girls between the ages of twelve and eighteen who show a desire to help within their communities and enjoy being a part of an organized team.
GFWC Juniorette clubs are a key element in the future and strength of federated women’s clubs. Historically, when a person volunteers as a youngster they are more likely to continue volunteering throughout their life. Juniorette clubs provide young girls the opportunity to work as a group to learn and develop personal skills, such as how to organize, speak to a group, to conduct meetings, and a multitude of leadership attributes. The personal satisfaction of both the Juniorette girls and Club mentors/advisors is invaluable.
Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month from 7:30 – 9:00 PM at the Verona Community Center, 880 Bloomfield Ave.
